How everything started...
Living in the heart of the city, coffee-walks have become an integral part of our day-to-days. Between two or three conversations about meditation, matcha tea and business, the topics came together in the idea of Wabi-Sabi Matcha. Not surprising coming from two insatiable young entrepreneurs always looking for new challenges. This is how this banal daily coffee-walk turned into the beginning of a business focused on the sale of matcha tea.
But why matcha tea? First, we simply thought that there was a lack of variety and availability of this wonderful product in our city. Also, beingvery focused on anything related to well-being, we knew matcha tea for its many virtues since a long time and we were surprised at the lack of general knowledge about the health benefits and the culture of matcha tea in our surroundings.
Thus, by Wabi-Sabi Matcha we aim to share with you our knowledge about matcha tea, but above all to offer you an impeccable product quality. Coming straight from Japan, the organic green tea leaves grow in the best conditions. They are then prepared according to Japanese cultural rituals to offer you the best quality you can have. Our job is to ensure that the product lives up to your expectations so that you just have to appreciate your matcha tea while enjoying its many health benefits.
What is Matcha ?
Matcha is finely ground powder of specially grown and processed green tea leaves, traditionally consumed in East Asia. The green tea plants used for matcha are shade-grown for three to four weeks before harvest; the stems and veins are removed during processing.

Why Wabi-Sabi Matcha?
Inspired by Zen Buddhist ethics, Wabi-Sabi is a Japanese philosophy based on the notion of beauty and timelessness. The Wabi-Sabi philosophy of life advocates a return to simplicity by forgetting the pursuit of perfection and knowing how to be satisfied with less to be happy. It is an art of living that celebrates seeing beauty in imperfection.
